According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in the period of 5 months (January 1st – June 8th, 2020), only 25 pet reports tested positive for COVID 19 while more than 7 million humans tested positive for the disease in the whole world. In addition, none of these reports suggested that pets can transmit the disease to their owners.
